Carlos Valbuena

General Manager

Over 35 years of experience in the tourism industry
Bachelor’s degree in Languages from Karl Marx University in Leipzig, Germany. Fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish.
His career began with Leading Hotels, La Boheme and Radisson Hotels in Bogota.
In 1990, he started his experience in the airline industry with Air France / KLM.
In 2007, he assumed the role of Director of Operations at the AVIATUR Group, leading tourism services such as the Visa Latam Rewards Program for 27 countries in the region.
Joined AVIAREPS Colombia in 2013 and within a few months transformed the company into the most successful representation firm in the country with a top-tier portfolio of solid clients. He won AVIAREPS Group prize in the category of Cross selling King in 2017 and 2021.

Account Manager expert in tourism, with MBA in Hospitality and Tourism, with more than 5 years of experience in sales and promotion of destinations, in local and international environments.
